Ndoum refuses to "premature" campaign (Ghana News)

2008 Flag-bearer of the Convention people's Party has denied reports that it conducts a campaign in advance of the opening of the party nomination.

Mr. Paa Kwesi Nduom said Araba Koomsom of News of joy his actions were to organize the party and not for his individual interest.

Allegations are active in media Nduom holding secret meetings with the leaders of the party in the region of the North, ostensibly to campaign for re-election as head of the party and flag bearer.

But Nduom asserts that these claims are false. After it was leader of the party in 2008 Dr Nduom said that it would be inappropriate not help to organize the party base.

He said any time he went to any part of the country, it tries to mobilize the population; hold meetings publicly on the development of the party and not to the campaign. Voyage in the northern region was not different, he said.

He said people attribute bad reasons anytime they see him in the company of members of the party anywhere in the country, adding that he is not disturbed by accusations of bad once he knows that he is doing the right thing.

Asked if there will be the flagship of the party election, Mr. Nduom was evasive, saying: "it is time for everything."

He said it is now time to establish the party at the base and when the time of the applications is up to, it will make its intentions.

Party Chairman Ladi Nylander said that the party will be surprised if campaigns Nduom reports are true.

However, he admitted that the Party agreed that individuals must assist Energizer party and contribute to community development.

He noted that, if a meeting is to organize the central part, any aspiring will be encouraged, but he is quick to add that the party will not asked in violation of the rules on the elections of the inner part.
