Celanese Corporation (NYSE: CE), a global technology company specialized materials and world leader in polymer emulsion, today announced that it will increase the price of all emulsions sold in the Americas, Europe, Middle East and Africa according to the below table, effective January 1, 2011, or as contracts allow.
The main reason for these price increases is increased commodity costs and this increase is in addition to the announced previously effective October 1, 2010.
These price increases include all emulsions and affect applications including, but not limited to, adhesives, paints and coatings, building and construction, nonwovens, fibreglass, carpets and textiles.
